For parks, hotels, brands and tourist boards

Work with us

I write about holiday parks, family hotels and holiday houses, about the days out we do along the way, and about the gear that makes a trip like that easier. Only what we have experienced and used ourselves, in Dutch and in English, mostly outside the school holidays.

Still from the barter deal era

I am Yasmine and I have been travelling through Europe with my family since 2024. There are more than twenty-five stories on the site by now, across seven countries, and every one of them is here in Dutch and in English.

I like good food and doing fun things, and I relax with a good book. By the sea earns bonus points. We love holiday parks with plenty going on, and good family hotels. Board games in the house? Lovely. Walking up and down the park for one activity after another: also great. Hiking through the mountains, working through big cities, hopping between activities every single day, you are less likely to catch us doing that.

This millennial still comes from the barter deal era: you arrange the stay or the activity, I write about it honestly. That story stays up for years, instead of a few hours on social media. You also will not see us making highlight reels, that is not really our thing.

I run a business myself and I have tried working with influencers before. That culture is not something I take part in any more, and that is not a judgement on anyone who does.

What you get

What comes back from a collaboration

A story in two languages. For a stay it covers the whole week: where we slept, what the children did, what the weather did, what it cost. For a day out, that day. For a product, how it held up across a trip. Dutch and English, both complete, no translate button. Most Dutch travel blogs are Dutch only, so for a park or hotel in Germany or Belgium selling on both sides of the border, that saves you a second partner.

Twenty to thirty of our own photos. Taken by us, free to use within the collaboration. Our children are never recognisable in frame. We do that anyway, and it saves you the whole process around image rights for minors.

Enough time to say something useful. Usually one to two weeks in one place, and outside the school holidays and peak weeks. Those are exactly the weeks you do not fill on their own, and the weeks in which we are cheaper to house. The same goes for gear: it travels with us for a whole trip before I write anything, so you will not get an unboxing.

I write it myself, including what did not work. My review of Landal Hochwald says the pool is small. That is what makes people believe the rest of it, and it is why the readers who do suit you actually turn up.

What *comes back* from a collaboration
An email is enough

Shall we talk it through?

Tell me briefly which park, hotel, day out or product it is, which period you have in mind and what you are hoping to achieve. I will tell you within a few days what is possible, and whether I am the right partner for it. If I am not, I will say so.

The longer we stay somewhere, the more comes back: a few days produces a different story than two weeks outside the season. We work that out per collaboration, in money or in kind.
